Judit Polgár, the greatest female chess player in history, has always been known for her bold and creative play especially her love for the dynamic g4 pawn push. Fast forward to 2024, Judit recently praised a modern use of the same move by Fabiano Caruana against Vincent Keymer during an online event hosted by chess.com. She called it a “superb idea and an incredible game” — a reminder of how timeless and powerful this opening strategy can be.
