The heart of the chess world beats strong in Saint Louis! In response to the devastating tornadoes that recently struck the area, the Saint Louis Chess Club, World Chess Hall of Fame, and Grand Chess Tour have united to launch a $150,000 matching donation campaign for disaster relief.
Backed by generous support from Rex and Dr. Jeanne Sinquefield, every donation will be matched dollar for dollar, potentially raising $300,000 for the St. Louis Community Foundation's Tornado Response Fund. The money will go toward immediate aid and long-term rebuilding—supporting local families, schools, and community programs.
